Dear fellow humans

I guess there is no rules for how to start a blog so let me introduce you to (*dramatic drumming*)... Piece of Travel - our dear new blog + vlog! This page that you just opened on your laptop, Iphone, Ipad or Iwhatever is the page that will be soon filled with stories about our lives, on and off the road. Lot's of travelling, pictures, videos, nonsense words, recipes, thoughts and weird selfies.

Just a few cheesy words about us: Our names are Linnea and Arno, both of us 20. We are quite a fresh couple, right now living in Finland (not together yet), that dark, cold land between Sweden and Russia, where the sun doesn't set during Summers and rise around Wintertime (no fluffy polar bears here, sorry). We have huge passion for travelling, both of us have been exploring the world since the day one - separately by that time - living in different countries and continents. And we don't just go from one Hilton to another, our style is a little extreme. And that's what we'll be posting. About all the you-never-know-what's-gonna-happen-next -moments and my-heart-just-skipped-few-beats -feelings.

I (Linnea) am an open person, always busy with different tasks or just life in general. I have no skills for sleeping long hours or laying on the couch doing nothing, I always feel like I am needed somewhere. From us two I am the more writer kind of person. Or well yeah, a writer to put it straight. I started writing novels at the age of 11. Three of them have been published and the latest one was nominated for a big literacy award in 2015 (Topelius). Besides writing I have a huge passion for filming, editing and photography. And riding and snowboarding and cooking and sports and a lot of other things.. I have had few blogs before and a Youtube channel called LinQviny. I also update for Dzikwa Trust's Youtube channel and have been filming a lot of materials, music videos, documentaries, commercials etc..

Arno on the other hand is the kindest person, who owns the weirdest cat, drives the tiniest green car and never thinks twice before getting into some adventure or jumping into a plane to the other side of the world. He is the super spontaneous, half Belgian boyfriend I must have dreamed about my whole teenager life since I had no interest for any of those football stars that advertise underwear. The Belgian half in him also speaks fluent Flemish and could eat Nutella with every meal. He is super wise and loves to talk about politics, history and other kind of stuff that makes him win every single Buzz game (not sour at all..). Yet his biggest career dream would be becoming a pilot. He is a little newborn on the blogging side, but is technically talented and always tells me how to use my cameras, computers and other electronics or filming with me. And yeah he will be posting here soon too. 

The official language for the blog and vlog is English, just for the sake of our international friends - sorry grandma, I will make you private posts in Finnish. 

I think this should be enough for now. Or hopefully. I will go prep my coffee machine for tomorrow, it's gonna be a marathon after these few hours of sleep I will get before work. And hey guess what after work! We are travelling to Budapest, Hungary! So we will be in the middle of the action in 21 hours. More pictures from there then. And later on too as we are continuing our way with a rental car across Europe, visiting Croatia, Italia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and maybe Austria too! But before getting into that let me save some coffee by sleeping as much as possible.. Chiao!
